Greg Cox BSc physics
I have a degree in Physics followed by three years full time postgraduate research in Physics and a life long interest in Mathematics. For 20 years I have specialised in coaching sixth form and engineering undergraduates in both Physics and Mathematics.
My career applying cutting edge technology in engineering and computer science allows me to explain concepts from both Physics and Maths in a way that is rather more interesting than what you may be used to.
You should find it much easier to gain a real understanding of the subjects you are studying, and hence achieve required grades, and also skills for your own career.
With over three thousand hours tutoring experience, I can normally answer any question you come up with (from the current Physics and Maths syllabus. No one knows everything so any thing I can’t answer immediately you can be sure I’ll get back to you.
You should find our lessons interesting, challenging and FUN. You will develop the intellectual tools you’ll need to achieve your grade goals. Why not give it a try, book now while I have space for new students.

Amazing tutor Greg was instrumental in helping me get a good understanding of various concepts in physics which teachers had found difficult to explain to me. I often couldn't keep up with the maths that was being done in my school lessons but Greg helped me work through problems until I had a good understanding of them and could do them on my own. He also really helped me enjoy physics by tying it to real life. Couldn't recommend enough 🙂

Student review of Greg Greg has been an amazing physics A-level tutor. from our online sessions I got quality one to one time that help me with areas I was weak on and working on improving one of my biggest weaknesses being longform exam questions. Greg was really knowledgeable about the subject and from the sessions i became more confident in my ability.

Greg completely turned my A-Levels around Greg Cox tutored me for both Maths and Physics at A-Level. I am confident that Greg played a vital role in me getting into my top choice university. Greg was able to break down the complex ideas of A-Level Physics in a way that not only made them easy to grasp but also enjoyable to learn. Greg didn't simply show me the answer to questions, but helped me develop my own understanding of the material. I would absolutely recommend the services of MandGCTutors.

The best tutor I could’ve asked for I studied Maths, Physics and Geography and during my first year of A-Levels in 2017 I was predicted to get two C’s and 1 D. I asked Greg for some help with my maths and physics as I was struggling and because of this I was able to achieve 2 B’s. He was extremely attentive and helpful. If it wasn’t for the help he gave me I wouldn’t have got the grades I needed to go to my university and wouldn’t have gone on to complete my degree. Overall the best tutor I could’ve asked for very smart and he has a brilliant ability to teach.

From D to B (Physics A level) in less than a year Parent Review Before Greg, son struggling with Physics at A level. The predicted grade in October 2021 was D, by June 2022 son achieved a B. Greg's tutoring really made the difference. Greg was so quick at working out the problem areas, he listened and understood. But really importantly knew exactly what to do to fix them. Over the months son started to realise he could do it in exams and also in class he started to enjoy the subject. I have no hesitation in recommending Greg - he is brilliant, and my sons result speaks volumes over how good Greg is at helping anyone struggling get there. Thank You

Our Guardian Angel Greg Cox you are nothing short of amazing and someone in life we will never forget. Our son is doing really well and now planning his Masters in Data Science with eyes firmly set on specialising in Reinforcement Learning within AI. You should be very proud of how you teach each student and we as parents would advise any other parents out there with a son or daughter needing that little but if guidance and encouragement to give Greg a call. Trust me you will never regret this choice. Thank you so much.

F.A.Q.
I specialise in A-level Physics, and Maths including Further Maths. However I also coach Engineering and Science undergraduates in both disciplines.
Tutoring is my main occupation, so I am quite flexible in days and time for tutoring.
I normally tutor for one hour, that seems to be an ideal duration.
If you have a special need, like a tight deadline, or a really complex subject i recommend breaking the session up into hour chunks with a free coffee break between.Â
Tutoring on-line works really well since the development of ZOOM, I can tutor in pupils homes in exceptional circumstance, but that is more expensive.
All you need to be tutored on line is a mobile phone or tablet or a desktop computer and reasonable broadband. A stylus can be helpful for entering equations etc. Amazon offer several at around ÂŁ20.
